In A Distant Day In A Distant Land Fr. Cardjin
Gathered A Devoted Band Whose Aim It Was
The World To Bring, With Apostles Of Christ, Our
Lord And King

To See What Our Surrounding Shows, To Judge
Them As They Ought To Be, To Act In The Way
Christ Has Made Us Know; So As To Change,
To Judge From Seeing

Stanza 2:

The Movement Then Like A Bush Fire Spread,
Many Followed Where The Few Had Led And
Soon In Schools Throughout The World, Y.C.S
Banners Were Unfurled

Stanza 3:

To Christianize Oneself And Friends And To Live
The Gospel At Their End, To Bring The Good
News Into Daily Lives, Such Is The Object Of
Their Strife
